Lou Lou

The VW Camper Company LTD

We found Lou Lou in Scotland. She was much loved by her previous owner who had used her to travel the country in all weathers. Sadly the salt used on Britain's winter roads had got to her and she had rusted badly.

In 2006 we stripped her back to the bare metal and welded in new new body panels all round. We re-painted her old English white all over to make her suitable for weddings and promo work where the client may want to wrap or brand her.

She's one of the last ever Devon Moonraker's with the full length elevating roof featuring a large upstairs bed. She has seats and belts for 5 including the driver.

The interior equipment includes cooker, a proper fridge and a stainless steel sink with pumped water supply. There is also a separate "leisure battery" system that allows the lights, stereo etc to be used as much as you want without draining the engine battery.

Lou Lou is also fitted with a Propex blown air heating system and is available (and quite usable) all-year-round.

Oh, and she's got a nice new 4 speaker CD system & our trademark curtains too..

Her previous assignments include 3 weeks with GMTV during 2006 World Cup where she was used to follow the WAGS around Germany by roving reporter Matt Arnold.
