Yes, we have recently worked with the BBC, MTV, GMTV, BRMB Radio, Bravo Channel, various fashion agencies and we've got a camper on the cover of the new Fairport Convention album [Top]
No. Our campers are fitted with a leisure battery system to enable you to use the lights & music without draining the starting battery. [Top]
No. We're sorry but due to insurance criteria our campers are only available for holidays in the UK. Next year we may launch a European service for repeat customers. [Top]
All our vans are fitted with lap type seat-belts to the rear seats of all of the campers. These are the same type as fitted to the middle seats of most family cars and can also be used to strap-in child seats. [Top]
All are fitted with the standard VW heater which to be honest whilst it works OK on the move its not much use when parked. Some of the campers have an additional propex blown air heating system that can be used at night. These heaters are all new and, along with perhaps the stereo and tyres, are the only 20th century technology upgrades on the campers. If you are expecting it to be cold - ask for one when you book. The simple answer is not very. The 1600cc models cruise at 60mph and will run out of puff a bit on steep hills. The 2000cc models will cruise at 70mph but they also use a bit more fuel. Its best to adjust your expectations at the start and enjoy your journey. If you are in a real hurry then please rent something else or consider an action holiday! [Top]
By car, train or plane. We'll store your car for you whilst you are away or collect you from the railway station in Banbury. We'll arrange the details when you book.

It's better if you don't! Someone will probably be waiting to go on their holiday. We have to clean and check her over before the next holiday-makers can go on their trip. A surcharge will be made - see T&C's for details. [Top]
When you make your booking we will ask for a deposit payment to secure your camper for your chosen dates. The balance will be due 30 days before the collection day.
On collection day we will require a credit card deposit to cover our insurance excess in case you have an accident, or in case of any damage to the camper. We don't actually take any money from your account, we reserve the amount as a "pre-payment" in the same way as hotels often do when you check in. [Top]
Yes. All are fitted with an up-to-date Radio, CD/CD-R/MP3 stereo's and 4 speakers. They have a mini jack input on the front for direct connecting your iPod, or similar player. We'll include a couple of CD's too. [Top]

They have all been professionally re-built using genuine VW parts and they are fully serviced every 3000 miles. Each camper has a 24hr breakdown/recovery card and you will be taken to your campsite of choice if it can't be fixed straight away. We'll then sort out the problem whilst you enjoy your holiday. Our campers are original Volkswagen Type 2 Kombi's from the last two years of production at the end of the seventies. These models are generally more user friendly and more reliable than the early "split screen" model that Jamie Oliver drives, but they are based on the same van.
So whilst we all dream of owning one like Jamie's, his is actually fitted with a Porsche engine, the ones we have make much better self drive hire vehicles. [Top]
There is no mileage limit as such but a specific "free" mileage of 500 miles is included within the hire fee with additional miles charged at 25p/mile [Top]
