Fans of Rolf Harris (we are) and VW campers will be delighted to hear that for a month he drove Delphi around the UK following in the brushstrokes of L.S.Lowry. The BBC hired her from us for the whole of January to produce a 45 minute film about the famous artist.
Most people associate Lowry with his industrial scenes in the North West but as the program showed he travelled the country painting landscapes, seascapes and people. Rolf and Delphi went to Salford, Cumbria, Berwick-upon-Tweed, Glasgow, Wales and London to tell the story.
Our favourite bit was of Rolf driving the camper up to Buckingham Palace. They did 1800 miles in all without a single problem - well not with the camper anyway.
The program may be repeated - email us for details. Better still why not hire Delphi yourself?
