1976 Westfalia Continental RHD 2 x double beds £SOLD

Super rare Right-hand drive late model Westfalia. In original condition throughout complete with all accessories including the cab bunk, stool and even the toaster attachments for the cooker!

Introduced for the 1974 model year, with the rear hinging roof, these are very rare in the UK due to Volkswagen UK deciding to market Devon conversions through the dealer network. To get hold of one of these the original owner would have to persuade the dealer to place a special order and ignore the Devon's that he had in stock. The result was probably worth it, the reward being a very high quality interior fit out and excellent double bed in the roof. It was not until 1979 that Devon could provide similar accommodation up top.

This example is without doubt one of the best we have seen. The chassis was Ziebart treated from new and remains in excellent condition with just a few light repairs done. The bodywork is very good with all original panels. The paintwork is generally good but for a couple of small areas.
